Web Design Company in Abu Dhabi
Arabic and English company websites and online stores for firms selling in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, planned around Arabic readers, local permits and the enquiries your sales team actually needs.
Need a web design company in Abu Dhabi that treats Arabic as a first language rather than an add-on? NoVi Marketing Services plans, writes, designs and develops company websites and online stores for businesses selling in the capital, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. We begin with what your buyers type into Google and with what a procurement officer, a patient or a property investor needs to see before getting in touch, then build pages in both languages that open quickly on a phone and record every call, WhatsApp message and form. Our team sits in Cairo and serves Abu Dhabi clients remotely. We have no office in Abu Dhabi or anywhere else in the UAE.
Who we build for: suppliers and contractors bidding for government and semi-government work, industrial and energy service firms in Musaffah, KIZAD and the western region, developers and brokerages with projects on Yas, Saadiyat, Al Reem and Al Raha, clinics and medical centres licensed by the Department of Health, hotels, tour operators and attractions, financial and professional firms in ADGM, and retailers moving from selling on Instagram to a store of their own. We take on company projects only, so personal portfolios and influencer profiles are outside our scope.
Why Abu Dhabi visitors read a website differently: the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi put the emirate's population at about 4.14 million in 2024, spread over three regions with different buyers. Many purchases here pass through committees, vendor registration and tender evaluation, so a first visit to your site is usually a check rather than an impulse. That reader wants your registered name, licence, scope of work, sectors served and a named contact, and wants to find them in under a minute. We shape the structure around those checks before choosing a single colour.
Phones, speed and the first screen: DataReportal's Digital 2026 report counts about 11.3 million internet users in the UAE, roughly 99.0 percent of the population, with a median mobile download speed of about 614 Mbps. On connections like these, a slow page is a build fault, not a network one. We compress images, cut third-party scripts, pick hosting that serves Gulf visitors well and test the Arabic and English versions separately, because Arabic web fonts can add weight the English page never carries.
Arabic first, English alongside: in the capital, government bodies, Emirati families and many family-owned groups expect to read about you in Arabic, while engineers, consultants and expatriate managers often search in English. We write each version from scratch. The Arabic is clear Modern Standard Arabic with vocabulary a Gulf reader recognises and none of the Egyptian or Levantine turns of phrase that sound imported in Abu Dhabi. The English is short and plain, with nothing a procurement reader has to decode. Keyword research runs separately per language and covers both common spellings, أبوظبي and أبو ظبي.
Arabic on store pages is a legal baseline: Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023, the executive regulations of the UAE Consumer Protection Law, took effect on 14 October 2023. In its analysis, Pinsent Masons explains that data, advertising, contracts and website information displayed by e-commerce providers, and all invoices, must be in Arabic, with other languages allowed on top. If you sell to consumers in Abu Dhabi, product pages, terms, the returns policy and checkout text all need an Arabic version. We put them in the first sitemap and leave the final legal wording to your adviser.
Your trade licence and your website: mainland companies hold economic licences registered with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), and free-zone firms answer to their own authority. Through the TAMM platform, ADDED lets licence holders add online trading activities to an existing licence or take out an e-commerce licence for selling through websites and social media, so check with ADDED or your free-zone authority that your licence covers online sales before a store goes live. On the site we recommend a footer and contact page showing your exact registered name and licensing authority, written the same way as on your Google Business Profile, because vendor registration teams compare the two.
Selling online under Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023: the UAE law on trading through modern technological means covers websites, platforms, mobile apps and social media. Reed Smith's summary of it lists a non-paper invoice, a way for customers to rate their experience inside the platform, a staffed phone line for complaints, a choice over receiving marketing by phone, email or social media, and a duty to secure the trading environment. In a store build that turns into emailed invoices, a feedback or review feature, a visible support number, marketing opt-ins left unticked and an HTTPS checkout through your chosen payment provider.
Online stores for Abu Dhabi shoppers: we plan the catalogue in both languages with full specifications, AED prices that include any charges the customer pays, delivery areas and times for the island, the mainland suburbs, Al Ain and Al Dhafra listed separately, and a returns page linked from every product. The checkout connects to the payment gateway you contract with, and order confirmations go out by email and, if you choose, WhatsApp. When a hosted platform suits your range better than a custom build, we say so before the proposal, not after.
Right-to-left that is designed, not flipped: the Arabic layout gets wireframes of its own. Navigation, sliders, progress steps, tables and any icon that points a direction are checked both ways, and mixed strings such as a +971 number, an AED amount, a tender reference or a product code in Latin letters are tested so they display in the right order. We pair an Arabic typeface with your brand font that stays legible at small sizes, then review both versions on iPhone and Android handsets before launch.
Capability sites for government suppliers: an evaluator reviewing your company wants evidence it can verify. We build a page per service line, a sectors page, a page listing the certifications, approvals and registrations you genuinely hold, a projects section limited to clients you may name, and a company profile download in Arabic and English. Request-for-quotation forms capture scope, location and timing so your bid team can reply with a proper answer. Nothing on these pages claims an approval you have not been granted.
Industry, energy and Musaffah: engineering buyers search by product, standard and capacity. For industrial and energy service firms we build product or service templates with specification tables, downloadable data sheets, the standards you meet and a short route to request a quote, structured so a large range stays crawlable. If you support operations in Al Dhafra, the site states what you can deliver there and how, instead of a vague UAE-wide promise.
Property sites and Madhmoun: since 7 July 2025, property advertising for onshore Abu Dhabi needs a Madhmoun permit issued by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) through the DARI platform. Units under ADGM on Al Reem and Al Maryah follow ADGM's own advertising permit, launched on 21 August 2025 on its AccessRP platform and developed with the Department of Municipalities and Transport and ADREC. Our listing and project templates carry a permit field, so a page without a valid number can stay offline, and your team confirms each permit with the issuing body. The campaigns that send traffic to these pages are covered on our Google Ads agency in Abu Dhabi page (/services/google-ads-agency-abu-dhabi).
Clinics under the Department of Health: healthcare facilities in the emirate are licensed by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, which publishes guidelines for health media and advertising. DoH Circular No. 26 of 2023 set out a training programme on those guidelines for licensed facilities, covering how to log advertising and communication materials on DoH systems. We build specialty, doctor and branch pages in both languages with factual descriptions, no promised outcomes and booking forms that collect only what your front desk needs, and we agree with your compliance lead which pages to log before launch.
Hotels, attractions and tourism: visitors heading to Yas, Saadiyat or the desert often plan on a phone before they land. We build bilingual pages for rooms, experiences, dining and packages, with prices where you choose to publish them, maps, opening hours and a booking route that works on mobile, plus structured data so search engines can read the details. Pages for the cooler months and major events go up early enough to be indexed before demand peaks.
ADGM firms and data protection: companies established in Abu Dhabi Global Market fall under the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, enacted on 11 February 2021. ADGM's own overview of the regulations lists a right for individuals to be informed about the collection and use of their data, and describes the right to object to processing for marketing as absolute. For a firm on Al Maryah or Al Reem that means a privacy notice written for the ADGM regime, a cookie banner that holds back non-essential tags until the visitor agrees, and marketing sign-ups that are simple to withdraw. Your compliance team approves the final text.
Mainland firms and the federal PDPL: Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on personal data protection came into force on 2 January 2022, and the UAE government portal summarises it as prohibiting processing of personal data without the owner's consent, with stated exceptions. Recording Law's 2026 guide reports that formal executive regulations had still not been published as of May 2026, so the detailed rules may change. We build forms that ask for the minimum, write consent text in both languages and set analytics to respect each visitor's choice. We are not lawyers, and your adviser signs off the policy.
UAE PASS for portals and customer areas: if your site needs a customer or partner login, document signing or digital onboarding, the UAE PASS developer documentation lists authentication and digital signature as available to private organisations as well as government entities, after an onboarding process with the UAE PASS team. It is the national digital identity residents already use for many government services. We look at whether it fits your use case and, if it does, plan the integration as its own phase.
Accessibility government buyers recognise: TDRA states that federal government entities are guided to reach WCAG 2.1 at level AA under the national digital accessibility policy. Private companies are not the target of that policy, but a supplier whose site meets the same benchmark has one less question to answer. We check contrast, keyboard use, form labels, focus order, captions and alternative text in Arabic and English.
Picking .ae or co.ae: under the .ae Domain Administration policy (AEDA-POL-007), names registered directly under .ae are open to any applicant, while co.ae is kept for commercial entities active in the UAE that hold a trade licence, a free-zone licence or a UAE trademark registration or application. Plenty of Abu Dhabi firms keep the .ae and a .com and redirect one to the other. We advise registering the domain, hosting, analytics, Search Console and payment accounts to your company, with access granted to our team.
Search planned into the sitemap: we group searches such as web design company abu dhabi, website design abu dhabi and arabic english website abu dhabi with their Arabic counterparts, such as شركة تصميم مواقع في أبوظبي and تصميم مواقع أبوظبي, and give each group one page with its own title and description. Each language has its own crawlable URLs, paired through ar-AE and en-AE hreflang with an x-default, plus XML sitemaps and Organization, Service and FAQ structured data where they fit. Our SEO company in Abu Dhabi page (/services/seo-company-abu-dhabi) explains the monthly work that follows launch.
Leads tracked from day one: buyers in the capital often phone or send a WhatsApp message before they fill in a form. We add click-to-call, WhatsApp buttons with a message that names the page, and short forms, and record each as a separate conversion with its source in Google Analytics 4. Enquiries reach your inbox or CRM straight away, so a quote request sent at 11:30 on a Friday is not left waiting over the weekend.
Planning around the 4.5-day government week: since 1 January 2022 the Abu Dhabi government has worked Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 15:30 and Friday from 7:30 to 12:00, with Saturday and Sunday off. If your buyers sit in government, state response times in those terms, keep a named contact visible and route late Friday enquiries to someone who will answer on Monday morning. Consumer sites behave differently, with more evening and weekend visits, which changes when offers should go live.
Copy we write, facts we ask you for: we interview you and your sales or bid team, then write both languages ourselves. We do not invent licence numbers, approvals, client names, project photos or prices. You supply them, we check they match your licence and public profiles, and anything still unconfirmed stays off the live site.
Proof from our work: the websites we have built so far are for clients in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and we label them by their real market. For Lugha Tech, an EdTech company serving learners in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, we built the brand, the product UI and the platform website (/work/lugha-tech). For Tahawer Real Estate in Mansoura, Egypt, we designed and developed a bilingual property website for homes for sale and rent (/work/tahawer). For Pawm in Saudi Arabia we designed the brand and the app interface (/work/pawm). We have not yet published a website project in Abu Dhabi, and we will not present other work as one.
Redesigns that keep what already ranks: before replacing a site we list every URL that earns visits or links in either language, map each one to its new address and test the redirects on staging. Arabic and English pairs stay matched so hreflang keeps working, and we watch Search Console for both sections in the weeks after the switch.
How a project runs: a discovery call, a short brief and a look at your current site and competitors, then a sitemap and page list for approval. Wireframes in both languages come next, then visual design, then development on a private staging link. We load content, test forms, tracking, speed and both layouts on real devices, and go live only after your sign-off. Kick-off, reviews and approvals happen on video calls, shared documents and WhatsApp, in Arabic or English. Cairo runs one to two hours behind UAE time depending on the season, and our Sunday to Thursday week overlaps the Abu Dhabi government week from Monday to Thursday.
What drives the cost: the number of templates, one language or two, store, booking or login features, integrations with your CRM, payment gateway or UAE PASS, and how much copy, photography and video we produce. We do not publish packages. After a free consultation you receive a written proposal in AED as a Project, a Monthly Retainer or a Custom scope, listing pages, deliverables and timeline.
Questions to put to any Abu Dhabi web designer: who writes the Arabic, and can you read a sample first? Will your registered name and licence details match across the site and Google? Which permits, such as Madhmoun or DoH logging, does the build plan account for? Who owns the domain, hosting and analytics? How are calls and WhatsApp clicks counted? Has consent been planned for the federal PDPL or for ADGM's regulations? Ask for every answer in writing, including from us.
After launch: we agree hosting, backups, security updates and content edits before go-live. You can run the site yourself after recorded training in Arabic or English, or keep a monthly care plan in which we add pages, test offers and review search and lead data. For social media in the capital, see our social media agency in Abu Dhabi page (/services/social-media-agency-abu-dhabi), and for our other services in the country, our UAE page (/uae).
Do you have an office in Abu Dhabi? No. NoVi serves Abu Dhabi clients remotely from Cairo, with calls and video meetings Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 18:00 Cairo time. Staging links, approvals and handover all happen online.
Does an Abu Dhabi online store need an Arabic version? If you sell to consumers in the UAE, very likely yes. The consumer protection regulations in Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023 are read by law firms as requiring website information from e-commerce providers to be in Arabic at a minimum. Your legal adviser confirms how this applies to your business.
Can you build a website for an ADGM-registered company? Yes. We plan the privacy notice, cookie consent and marketing sign-ups around the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021 rather than the federal law, use ADGM's property permit for listings on Al Reem and Al Maryah, and leave regulated wording to your compliance team.
Who we work with: NoVi Marketing Services works with companies only: SMEs, startups, family businesses and enterprises, with a focus on Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. We do not grow personal social media accounts, sell followers, likes or views, or promote individual profiles.
