Service
SEO Company in Doha
Bilingual SEO for Doha and Qatar businesses that want Arabic and English searchers to find them, trust them and get in touch.
Why Doha needs its own SEO plan: Qatar is a small market with a lot of value packed into it. Most of the country lives in and around Doha, buyers compare carefully, and the same few names come up again and again in every category. That means a page that ranks on page one in Doha is seen by a large share of the people who could ever buy from you. It also means generic pages copied from a Dubai or Riyadh site rarely hold up, because Qatar searchers notice when the districts, prices, rules and even the spelling are wrong for their country. A useful SEO plan for Qatar starts with who is searching, in which language, from which part of the city and at what stage of the decision. We then build pages that answer those searches more completely than the pages ranking today, and we measure the plan on enquiries, not only on positions.
Who this is for, and who it is not for: This service suits Qatar-based companies and regional brands selling into Qatar whose customers search before they call, book or visit. That includes clinics, schools and training centres, developers and brokers, hotels and restaurants, retailers and online stores, and B2B suppliers selling to corporate and government buyers. It works best when you can give us access to your site, your Google Business Profile and your enquiry data, and when someone on your side can review Arabic and English pages for accuracy. It is not the right fit if you want a fixed number of blog posts each month with no link to leads, or if you need guaranteed positions by a date. Nobody controls Google rankings, and we would rather say that at the start than explain it six months later.
How Qatar searches: Google is the search engine that matters in Qatar. Statcounter's figures for October 2026 put Google at about 95.8 percent of search engine referrals across all devices and about 99.1 percent on mobile, with Bing a distant second on desktop at about 14 percent. DataReportal's Digital 2026 report counts about 3.10 million internet users in Qatar in October 2025, an adoption rate it puts at 99 percent, and about 4.75 million active mobile connections in late 2025, equal to 152 percent of the population. In practice this is a phone-first market. People search on the move, tap to call or open WhatsApp from the results page, and check Google Maps before they drive across Doha. So we judge every page on a mobile screen first: how fast it loads on a mobile connection, whether the answer appears near the top, and whether the call, WhatsApp and directions buttons are easy to reach with a thumb.
Arabic and English in the same city: Most people living in Qatar are expatriates, and many of them search in English, often with the area name in the query, such as dentist in Al Sadd or apartments in Lusail. Qatari citizens and the wider Arab community often search in Arabic, especially for services tied to family, health, education and government, and many people switch between the two languages on the same day. Queries also mix scripts. Someone might type سيو الدوحة, SEO Doha or a brand name in Latin letters inside an Arabic sentence. We research each language separately rather than translating one keyword list into the other, because the terms, volumes and intent are rarely the same. The result is two keyword maps, two sets of pages and one plan that decides where Arabic should lead, where English should lead and where you need both at equal strength.
Arabic SEO written natively for Qatari readers: Arabic SEO is not a translation step at the end of an English project. Our Arabic pages are written in Arabic from the start, in clear Modern Standard Arabic with the Gulf vocabulary readers expect, such as فلة rather than فيلا in property, مجلس for reception spaces and دوام for working hours. We check spelling variants that change search volume, such as الدوحة with and without the article, قطر alone or with دولة, and common English terms that Arabic speakers keep in English, SEO among them. The Arabic version of a page is planned as a page in its own right, with a title, description, FAQ set and links chosen for Arabic queries rather than copied across. Before launch we test it on a phone: right-to-left alignment, Arabic and Western numerals, +974 numbers that dial with one tap, and forms that accept Arabic names. In some local categories the Arabic results are thinner than the English ones, and when that is the case the Arabic page can be the quicker win.
Bilingual technical structure: A common problem on Qatar business sites is an Arabic version that search engines barely see. Sometimes the Arabic text loads through a script on the English address, sometimes the Arabic pages carry canonical tags that point to English, and sometimes the language switcher sends every visitor to the Arabic home page. Our first technical task is to give each language its own crawlable address, connect each pair of pages with en-QA and ar-QA hreflang, and check that canonical tags, sitemaps and the switcher all tell Google the same thing. Brands that also sell in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Kuwait need a decision on regional versions, and we make it with you based on how much the offer, prices and rules differ in each market. We also review mobile speed, indexing, redirects, broken pages and structured data for your organisation, branches, services and FAQs. Fixes go to our own web and technology team, so agreed changes do not sit in a queue with an outside developer.
.qa domains and international setup: A .qa or .com.qa domain tells users and search engines that you are a Qatar business, but it is not required to rank in Qatar, and many strong local sites use .com. The choice depends on whether you serve only Qatar or several markets. Rules for .qa have recently changed. According to registrar reports, new .qa registrations from 22 October 2026 follow the same eligibility rules as .com.qa, which means a Qatari commercial registration, trade licence or a trademark registered in Qatar. Names registered before that date can usually be renewed, but changing their details may bring them under the new rules. Please confirm the current requirements with an accredited registrar or the Communications Regulatory Authority before you buy or transfer a domain. If you already own a .qa domain and a .com, we decide which one is the main site, redirect the other properly and make sure analytics, Search Console and your Google Business Profile all point to the same address.
Local SEO across Doha districts: Doha is compact, but search behaviour changes from one district to the next. West Bay brings corporate offices, towers and hotels. Lusail mixes new residential towers, offices, retail and events. The Pearl draws apartment residents, waterfront dining and boutiques. Msheireb Downtown has offices, hotels and cultural sites, while Al Sadd and Bin Mahmoud are dense with clinics, restaurants and shops. Al Waab, Al Gharrafa and Al Rayyan have many family homes and schools, Al Wakrah is a fast-growing city to the south, and Education City is home to universities and research centres. An area page earns its place only if you actually serve that area and have something specific to say about it, such as the streets or compounds you cover, where visitors park, how long delivery takes or which branch is closest. If the only thing that would change is the district name, we would rather point those searches to one strong Doha page.
Google Business Profile, zones and map pins: For any business with a physical location, the map results often bring more calls than the organic links. Qatar addresses work differently from many countries. Buildings carry blue plates showing the zone, street and building number, and Qatar does not use postcodes in everyday addresses. Customers and delivery drivers rely on the map pin, so an incorrect pin costs real visits. Your profile needs the right business name and category, a pin placed on the actual entrance, the zone, street and building numbers from your blue plate, accurate hours and a +974 phone or WhatsApp number, in English and Arabic where Google allows. After that it needs upkeep: current photos of the premises, a services list, posts during Ramadan and other busy periods, review requests that follow Google's policies, and replies to reviews drafted for your approval. A clinic with branches in West Bay and Al Wakrah gets one profile and one landing page per branch. Businesses that go to the customer rather than receive visitors, such as cleaning or maintenance companies, are set up as service-area businesses under Google's guidelines.
Real estate SEO in Lusail, The Pearl and West Bay: Property is one of the most competitive search categories in Qatar, and it is shaped by ownership rules that searchers ask about constantly. Cabinet Resolution No. 21 of 2026, reported in June 2026, updated the list of areas where non-Qataris can own property to ten areas, including West Bay Legtaifiya, The Pearl, Lusail, Dafna, Onaiza, Al Kharayej, Jabal Thuaileb, Al Khor Resort and the Simaisma project. Guides that answer can I buy in this area, what the process involves and which documents are needed draw steady search demand from expatriate buyers. We separate those evergreen guides from live listings, keep project pages accurate as availability changes, and build pages for searches such as apartments in Lusail or off-plan in The Pearl. In February 2026 the Cabinet approved moving the real estate brokerage department to the General Authority for Real Estate Regulation, Aqarat, so we ask you to confirm licensing and advertising requirements with Aqarat before pages go live.
Hospitality, tourism and events: In Doha, generic searches for hotels and restaurants are usually led by large booking and review platforms. Independent venues get more from narrow searches where those platforms give a long list but no real answer. Examples include Friday brunch in West Bay, desert and Inland Sea trips, dining at The Pearl, summer staycation deals and hotels near the venues for major exhibitions, conferences and sports events. Content follows the months when people actually plan: the cooler season from autumn to spring, school breaks, Ramadan and Eid, and Qatar National Day on 18 December. Menus, opening hours, photos and booking links on your site should match your Google Business Profile, so we check both together every time something changes.
Healthcare and education SEO: Patients and parents in Doha usually read several pages and compare before they book an appointment or apply for a school place, and many search in Arabic or by area, such as a pediatric clinic in Al Waab or a nursery in Al Gharrafa. A clinic page should state the specialties offered, the insurers accepted where relevant, the doctors and their licences, how booking works and how to find the entrance. For healthcare we keep claims factual and avoid promises about outcomes. MoPH Circular No. 1 of 2021, as later amended, requires written approval for the content of healthcare advertisements on social media platforms, and the Ministry of Public Health applies its advertising standards to healthcare facilities and practitioners, so we ask you to check every page against current MoPH rules before it goes live. School and nursery pages cover curriculum, admissions steps, fee enquiries and campus details, laid out for a parent reading on a phone in either language.
Retail, food and e-commerce: Product and restaurant searches in Qatar compete with delivery apps, marketplaces and regional retailers with large catalogues. Smaller brands win on the searches those platforms do not answer well: specific products, sizes, materials, local stock, delivery areas, gift ideas for Eid and Qatar National Day, and comparisons written by people who know the product. We structure category and product pages so they are crawlable, fast and clear about prices in QAR, delivery times and returns. For stores with many products, we fix duplicate pages created by filters, improve internal links between categories and add product structured data so Google can show price and availability where eligible. Restaurants and cafes get menu pages that load quickly on a phone and match what is on the Google Business Profile, because people often decide where to eat from the map results while already on the road.
B2B, corporate and government buyers: For a supplier selling to companies or ministries in Qatar, a term searched only a handful of times a month can matter more than one searched thousands of times, if the people searching are procurement officers, engineering managers or facility directors. Many of these buyers work in West Bay, Lusail, the Qatar Financial Centre or the industrial areas, and they search for specific products, standards, capacities and services, often in technical English and sometimes in Arabic. Evaluators also search your company name before a meeting. Each capability or product page answers one of those queries, with specifications, typical applications, the approvals and certificates you actually hold and a direct way to ask for a quotation. We make sure your company profile, downloadable documents and contact details are easy for a vendor registration team to find, and that the Arabic version of key pages reads as formally and accurately as the English one.
AI Overviews and AI assistants: Google launched AI Overviews across the Middle East and North Africa in May 2025 with Arabic support, and rolled out AI Mode in Arabic in October 2025. Some buyers in Doha now also ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity for recommendations before they search. Pages that get quoted in these answers tend to state the answer plainly, name the business and the people behind it and agree with other trusted sources. No one can promise a citation in an AI answer, and we will not. Our part is to make your pages easy to quote, with the short answer in the first lines, headings that match real questions, concrete details such as coverage areas, steps and prices where you publish them, structured data and an FAQ block. Mentions on respected Qatar and Gulf sites also help, because AI systems lean on sources that others already cite.
White-hat links in Qatar: Links still count, and the shortcuts still carry risk. Paid links, private blog networks and spam directories break Google's spam policies, so we do not use them. Every link we pursue should be one you could explain to a client or a regulator without embarrassment. Most come from digital PR: a useful guide, a set of local figures or an expert comment that a Qatar or Gulf publication covering your sector would want to run. Others come from relationships you already have, such as industry associations, the chamber of commerce, event pages, suppliers, clients and community or sponsorship work in Doha. Our media and creative teams make the explainers and data graphics that give editors a reason to link. The monthly report lists each new link with its source and why it is relevant. If your site already has harmful links, we look at them with you first and act only if there is a real problem.
Analytics, consent and Qatar's PDPPL: Lead tracking in Qatar has to work within the country's privacy law. Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law, Law No. 13 of 2016, sets the general framework, and the National Cyber Security Agency publishes guidelines on applying it. The law requires prior consent for electronic direct marketing, so newsletter sign-ups, WhatsApp broadcast lists and remarketing need care. The law does not have a separate cookie article, but published guidance and advisers generally treat consent and transparency as the safe approach for analytics and advertising tags. Firms in the Qatar Financial Centre also fall under the QFC's own data protection rules. We are not lawyers, so please confirm your obligations with your legal adviser. We set up Google Analytics 4, Search Console and conversion events for calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks, with a clear bilingual consent banner and forms that collect only what you need.
Reporting in leads, not vanity metrics: The first page of every monthly report covers enquiries from organic search: forms sent, calls made, WhatsApp chats started and, if you share CRM data, qualified leads and closed deals. WhatsApp is often the first point of contact in Qatar, so every WhatsApp link on your site carries a tag showing which page it came from, and where possible we match those chats to your sales follow-up. Below that we list the work behind the numbers: pages published, technical fixes shipped, profiles updated, links earned and movement on the Arabic and English terms that matter to you. The report closes with next month's plan and the reasoning for it. Management gets a one-page summary and your marketing team gets the full detail. When something is not working, we say so and propose what to change.
Planning around Ramadan, National Day and the season: In Qatar, search demand follows the calendar closely, so seasonal pages need to be written months before the peak. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, subject to the official moon sighting, which means pages for Ramadan offers, iftar and suhoor, changed opening hours and charity campaigns should be live and indexed by January. Qatar National Sports Day falls on the second Tuesday of February, and Qatar National Day on 18 December brings searches for events, offers and gifts. Tourism, outdoor activities, exhibitions and property viewings pick up in the cooler months. In summer many residents travel, and demand shifts towards indoor activities, travel and online services. We combine these dates with your own launches and sales cycle in one content calendar.
What SEO costs in Qatar: We do not publish fixed SEO packages, because two Doha businesses with the same budget can need very different work. The main cost drivers are the number of services and districts you want to rank for, whether both Arabic and English are in scope, how competitive your category is, the size and technical state of your site, how much new content and design you need, and whether link earning and digital PR are included. A clinic with one branch and a clean site needs a different plan from a developer with several projects or a store with thousands of products. There are three ways to work with us: a fixed Project, a Monthly Retainer or a Custom scope. Whichever fits, the quote is in QAR and comes after we have looked at your site, your market and your goals, with a clear list of what is included so you can compare it with other proposals.
How we work with Doha teams, and what we can show: NoVi Marketing Services works with Qatar clients from Cairo, remotely and through scheduled visits, with Arabic and English account management on WhatsApp, email and video calls. There is no NoVi office in Doha, and we say so up front. Strategy, art and visuals, creative and production, web and technology, media and business development sit in one team, so SEO, content, design and development are handled together rather than by three separate suppliers. Our Qatar case study, Al Raie Qatar, is a paid social result rather than an SEO project, and it shows the same discipline we bring to search: tight audience definition, clear conversion goals and honest measurement. Our published brand guidelines, such as Maison Nefer, Zahma and LogicHub, show how we document the identities that our web and SEO work builds on.
How to start: The first step is an SEO audit followed by a call. Share your website address and the services and parts of Qatar you care about most, whether that is all of Doha, a few districts or towns such as Al Wakrah and Al Khor. We look at your Arabic and English pages, your technical setup, your Google Business Profile and the sites that outrank you today, then walk you through what we found and a first plan. You are under no obligation to go further. If you do, we agree a Project, a Monthly Retainer or a Custom scope, priced in QAR. Contact us through our contact page at /contact or on WhatsApp at +20 110 396 6774 or +20 110 396 6775, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 18:00 Cairo time. Tell us what you sell and who buys it, and you will get a straight answer on what SEO can and cannot do for you in Qatar.

Frequently asked
How much does SEO cost in Qatar?
It depends on how many services and districts you need, whether Arabic and English are both in scope, your competition and your site's technical state. We do not publish packages. We quote in QAR for a Project, a Monthly Retainer or a Custom scope after an audit.
How long does SEO take to show results in Doha?
Fixes to indexing, speed and your Google Business Profile can show movement within a few weeks, especially for searches that include a Doha district. Competitive Arabic and English terms usually take several months. After the audit we agree targets for each language and report on them monthly.
Do you have an office in Doha?
No. NoVi works with Qatar clients from Cairo, remotely and through scheduled visits, with video calls and WhatsApp for day-to-day contact, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 18:00 Cairo time.
Should my Qatar website be in Arabic, English or both?
Usually both. Many expatriates search in English, while Qatari and Arab buyers often search in Arabic. Each language needs its own natively written pages, URLs and titles, linked with en-QA and ar-QA hreflang tags.
Do I need a .qa domain to rank in Qatar?
No. A .qa or .com.qa domain is a helpful local signal, but many sites rank in Qatar on .com. Registrars report that .qa eligibility rules changed on 22 October 2026, so confirm current requirements with an accredited registrar before you register.
Can you guarantee first page rankings on Google?
No. Rankings are Google's decision, and anyone who guarantees a position in Qatar is promising something they do not control. What we commit to is the work: a written plan, methods that follow Google's spam policies, a monthly report and a focus on enquiries.
How do you handle Google Maps for businesses in Doha?
We set up each real location with the correct name, category, map pin, zone, street and building numbers, hours, phone and WhatsApp, in English and Arabic where allowed, and keep reviews and posts active.
Does Qatar's data protection law affect SEO tracking?
It affects how you collect leads and run tags. Law No. 13 of 2016 requires consent for electronic direct marketing, so we use a bilingual consent banner and minimal forms. Please confirm your obligations with your legal adviser.
Will SEO help my business appear in Google AI Overviews?
It can raise your chances, but nobody can guarantee a citation. Google has offered AI Overviews in Arabic across MENA since May 2025. We write short, direct answers, add structured data and work on mentions from credible Qatar and Gulf sites.
How do I start?
Send your website and the services and parts of Qatar you want to rank for through our contact page or on WhatsApp at +20 110 396 6774 or +20 110 396 6775. We reply Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 18:00 Cairo time.
